Got the base for this icon from basicbases, which has been extremely useful for helping me fill up some icon space. I've got 38 now. But I've got room for 100. I wish I had more time to sit in front of Photoshop.

Just so this isn't a GIP

Enjoying cooking again. Less bothered by little daily annoyances. Higher energy. Improved "friskiness" (ahem).

Unlike the SSRIs I've taken in the past, Wellbutrin doesn't seem to make me want to sit still and avoid physical activity. That was always an issue with Prozac and Zoloft. I would feel emotional much better, but even as I felt more motivated to handle mental tasks, I felt my desire to get up and move sort of melt away.

Perhaps Wellbutrin acts more directly on neurochemistry than SSRIs do? The last I read (and admittedly, it was a pretty out-of-date article) nobody was really sure how it worked. But it certainly feels just a little speedy. And it feels as if it has kind of announced its presence with a fairly sudden and marked effect on me, in contrast to how SSRIs always creep up slowly, making tiny and subtle changes.

At any rate, I feel good today.

Hurray for feeling good!!!

My first thought this morning upon waking (other than "shit - I gotta go to work") was of Veiled Farm Girls. Wanna get together for a dinner sometime soon? I'll whip up a batch of the Girls.

...And I'm already daydreaming about apple picking and fun fall activities.

Yay, farm girls! Oh, heavens yes... let's do that soon. But let's make sure to do it in such a way that it doesn't make you stress about your sewing. Let me know what your schedule's like, and we will set a date.

Gosh, I think I'm looking more forward to fall than I have in many years. It's not making me sad this time, I don't think. I'm just all excited for it! *smooch*

Oh, and let's go pumpkin shopping too! I had so much fun that year we bought gay pumpkins out toward Leesburg.

...but after the show. Yes, after the show. (Can I tell ya how hard it is for me to stay disciplined and not sacrifice sewing for fun?!...I'm weak-willed, must be.)

I think after the show is a good idea :)
