Better

Got the base for this icon from basicbases, which has been extremely useful for helping me fill up some icon space. I've got 38 now. But I've got room for 100. I wish I had more time to sit in front of Photoshop.

Just so this isn't a GIP

Enjoying cooking again. Less bothered by little daily annoyances. Higher energy. Improved "friskiness" (ahem).

Unlike the SSRIs I've taken in the past, Wellbutrin doesn't seem to make me want to sit still and avoid physical activity. That was always an issue with Prozac and Zoloft. I would feel emotional much better, but even as I felt more motivated to handle mental tasks, I felt my desire to get up and move sort of melt away.

Perhaps Wellbutrin acts more directly on neurochemistry than SSRIs do? The last I read (and admittedly, it was a pretty out-of-date article) nobody was really sure how it worked. But it certainly feels just a little speedy. And it feels as if it has kind of announced its presence with a fairly sudden and marked effect on me, in contrast to how SSRIs always creep up slowly, making tiny and subtle changes.

At any rate, I feel good today.

glad wellbutrin's helping! it was too speedy for me, such that i didn't sleep, but i know of a couple of you now who've had good results. and extra hurrahs for improved enjoyment of cooking + improved friskiness. >;)

Well, I'm a world champion sleeper as a general rule (you and I have always had this in common.) So far, it's mostly just making me spring out of bed in the morning, much more vigorous than usual. Not too much trouble getting to sleep at night. But I am keeping an eye out for insomnia. That'd be *so* weird for me!
