Change is unlikely to be good.

According to the Post this morning, Powell's decision to step down is because the President "rebuffed his vision for a reshaped foreign policy." I'll bet he did. And I'm sure Dr. Rice will prove a lot more acquiescent. Shudder.

So far, 6 out of 15 cabinet members are outta there. So this constitutes a big shake up, and I'm a little surprised. And nervous. What now?

There is a chance, yes. Technically I'm still on the hook - as the "stoploss" program was started immediately after 9/11 2001. On the other hand, I've been on the hook for three years now, and so far nothing other than the occasional threatening letter.

Of course, that will all change once we invade Iran.
