Feb. 14th, 2002

Here's the last sentence from my weekly horoscope by Rob Brezsny:

"There are so many other ways I adore you, my dear, but there's only room to mention one more: I am enchanted by how you always seem ready to build a castle in the wilderness if this world ever fails you. "

Kewl. He's talking to all Aries, of course, but he's right on about that. I'm always fantasizing about that castle in the woods. How I'll grow food for 20, and learn how to generate electricity with windmills. I harbor this beautiful dream of an independent little community where everyone coorperates to make our lives rich and wonderful after the fall of the world as we know it.

Best Apocalypse Ever!
What a lovely thought. I wonder if enough of us would want to work to make that happen, even without the end of the world. It's the sort of thing people keep bringing up.

Re: Best Apocalypse Ever!
Personally, I'm absolutely serious about it, and would throw myself into such a project 100%. However, it would require Eric's approval, and I don't think he'd go for it. I dunno. I'm in if at least a few others are. I'd have no problem applying all my energy and resources to it.

If the Eschaton gets any more immanent, we'll start looking at moving to Central Wisconsin; until then, I kind of like the proximity of nightclubs...

Changing rooms last night was at a commune! Personally, I can't think of any living situation I'd dislike more, but I'll come visit on weekends.

Only you could made the apocalypse sound so inviting. (I mean that in a good way. ;)

I'd have to live at the far corner of the castle, though, hidden behind piles of books, and only emerging occasionally (and to do my bit for the community). If I'm submerged in people too long I get really grumpy.

Y'know, I've been testing borderline INFJ/INTJ since I was 16. As a teen I was convinced I was really an INFJ. More recently I think the INTJ rings true. . .

Cool!
Can I be in charge of media entertainment? I can collect and catalogue a library of movies, TV shows, music, books, etc.

Ok, I'll probably need an assistant for the music and books...
