Overall, it's a good day, yeah? My vote mattered for a change. And, although the insidious anti-gay marriage measure passed, it didn't pass by a landslide, which it would have done 10 years ago, I am sure. Things could be worse.

Yeah, and Rumsfeld quit! I mean, this doesn't FIX the gigantic ugly mess this administration had mad of this country (and a couple of OTHER countries) but at least it means it is POSSIBLE to fix it.

(I've got $10 says that the Republicans are all of a sudden going to be REALLY concerned with electronic voting errors and fraud now that they LOST.)

Oh, I dunno. I suspect that a significant part of the reason they didn't lose *harder* was because of their fraudulent activities. I doubt they'll want to look to closely at that stuff.

Probably too risky for them to call anyone out on the electronic voting issues, but I guess they don't mind complaining about ballot shortages.
