Neophillic

Who wants to move to Italy and live in a hilltop medieval village full of artists and mystics?

I wonder if they need a massage therapist there. I wonder if I can remember my smattering of Italian. Most of what I knew are creepy things I learned when we were playing Giovanni in the Philly game.

Sigh. I wonder how I have managed to pretend to be some facsimile of a normal person content to live a normal life for 8 years?

I wanna go! I'm sure somebody there will appreciate creepy Giovanni things...especially a town full of artists and mystics. We just have to figure out the visa process, right? Maybe dual-citizenship?

Sigh...those pics are beautiful.

I'm just devastated by the beauty. Every image is magical. Let's go!

I'm. So. There.
It may not be New Zealand, but my ghod.

(Answer: by hiding huge important sparkly parts of you away for daily safekeeping. So very very very glad you don't have to any more! *love*)

Oh, I'm sure s/he'd adapt more easily than we would. *sends warm thoughts to small bean*

Eh, you've never had to meet her. She is dull and depressive, and only lives in this little over-air conditioned box of an office. She gets to be re-absorbed into my newly unified selfhood very soon :)

Oh, but that living in a box-of-an-office has helped you realize not only what you REALLY want to do in life, but it has given you the money to live a deliberate path better suited to a Fenriss!

Oh, I know. And I really am grateful for that. I'm actually a little sentimental about leaving. But no regrets :)

Wow! That looks like a neat place...

Btw, you don't come across to me as pretending to be anything that you are not. "Normal" is such a subjective term anyway.

Well, it's not so much a matter of pretending to be someone else, I guess. It's more about hiding parts of me out of necessity. That's OK, really. I am just looking forward to being freer with myself in an environment that's less "buttoned up."

We can pretend all we want, they still smell it on us.

Yep. I mentioned to E last night that if you'd gotten hassled for jaywalking a couple of years ago, I would have suspected freak profiling. But you know? That might still be the case. Cause they always seem to know, no matter how we dress or wear our hair.

No. Now I just look like some friendly, non-threatening guy. I suspect he took me for an easy target who had the five bucks for the ticket.

It's part of a new crackdown on jaywalking.

You know, I would love to do that! Pretty soon, I will have 2 week days off, but my honey will be working. I will be very grateful for company on those days. Let's do the tea thing!

Hmm. Don't know Italian, but considering some of the Italians I've met, my German may get me through. Is there room for someone to live in the bell tower? You need someone to work the ballistas.
