OK, enough now

OK. OK. In lieu of what I had posted here before, I'll just post this, which you may already have seen, but which makes me feel just a tiny bit better.

I'll stop carrying on like this is my tragedy now. At least for a little while.

You see, the problem with being raised with the Unitarian Universalist notion of the Interconnected Web of All Existence is that sometimes you don't know where you end and others begin.

And then some of us are just wired that way. :(

I wish I could open my home, but I'm smack in the middle of the move. I can't provide a place to stay for at least three weeks. Gah!

your little rainstorm here, to rain on your parade by saying, that's all well and good, but if you're stuck without electricity in the astrodome, how will you see that notice online?

other than that, yes, it is very very kind.

If you're stuck in a motel in Alabama because you were smart enough and had a car and/or enough money to evacuate, but now have no home to go back to, those ads could be a very useful way to find alternate housing for the duration. Will they be helpful to everyone? No. Will they be helpful to someone in need? Probably yes.

You shouldn't refuse to do something just because you can't do everything. (That's the hypothetical "you," of course.)

*laughs*

I never said you should. And, yes, you've made a very good point.

Yay humans! Thank you for sharing that. :>

I think that in the middle of Serious Shit, a lot of our outsides are stripped away and we do get it -- that we *are* all interconnected.

To quote Transglobal Underground, There is no me there is no you, there is no no black or white, everyone is the plowman everyone is the seed, everyone is one with One Love and One Love is one with everyone. ('course, it sounds better with the technoreggae going on in the background)
