Reverse-Bechdel Test

Phew! I was starting to worry that my NaNoWriMo novel had flat, pointless male characters, but I've finally got two men talking about something other than the female protagonist!

But...men ARE flat and pointless, aren't they?

I've been watching your word count grow. So glad you're doing it! Looking forward to reading your novel someday...

Jeebus, I am so far behind! But I feel like the momentum is picking up, and I think I can catch up. It's such a thrilling, terrible, wonderful process!

Hooray! And here I was thinking that the reverse-Bechdel was trying to get two men to talk about a woman in the first place. I like it better your way.

Nah, if the Bechdel test is to get two women talking about something other than the male lead, I figure the reverse-Bechdel is to get two men doing something other than bickering over/co-objectifying a woman.

Down with sexual stereotypes of all kinds!

Oh, I don't know. Probably not this one, but maybe something. You are kind to suggest it :)
