Magazines to ditch

Hi all. Still alive, etc. I'm just a tad hibernatey this time of year. But I am trying to get a lot of cleaning done around the house, and that means purging junk.

The first thing I've got to get rid of is a bunch of magazines, mostly Pagan oriented, and some rather old. I've got a few issues of Sage Woman that go back to 1990, up through some fairly recent New Witch issues. There's some PanGaias in there, some Woman of Powers (possibly as old as the 80s) and a few Renaissance issues too. I hope someone wants these! I refuse to throw them out, so I'll freecycle 'em next, but if you want any (or preferably all) of these, please comment.

I have a good friend who does Soul Collage ( http://www.soulcollage.com/home/soulcollage-process.php ) and is often looking for magazines to clip from. Is this an acceptable destiny for your magazines? If you would rather find someone who wants them for reading - I would understand.

1) Soul Collage is an awesome idea -- I've been poking around with the idea myself, waiting for the MeetUp group up here to re-form. (I can't in good conscience scoop them up for that specific purpose, though, given how much collage roughage I already have. :<)

2) If you have the slightest little twinge about cutting them up, here's a thought: perhaps consider a daytrip in which we go to one of the several lovely tea-serving establishments around here that have "leave a book, take a book" racks set up, or we could bring them into Mystickal and let folks there scoop them up (they wouldn't last long there at all, although I'd probably try to have us loiter a while and do tarot and chatter happily and such.) 'course, we can do that without the magazines, too. :>

3) "Junk"?!! *gasp* Seriously, though -- the process of letting go of old stuff you don't need or use anymore is a symbolically nifty one, and is to be applauded.

Love!

Good for you doing the clean up - its hard to let the stuff go - but it sure feels good when you are clutter free - I will be back in US in March maybe we can meet for lunch or dinner or something xxx

Garden mulch. You're not throwing them away then, and it will make you smile every time you're out in the garden.
