Mission accomplished - at least, I think so. The summary screen sure *seemed* to show a Dem slate and a big NO on the odious Proposition #1, but since there's no paper trail, I'm left hoping that all I got out of it wasn't a little sticker...

Now need to wait till at least 8 pm for a good idea of results. And whether we need to look at moving to Canada...

I'm amazed at how hard it is to vote here. They seem to enjoy screwing up your voter registration and mailing you notice that they don't have you on record two weeks prior to election so that you cannot use the Internet to find your polling place. You can however call the voter line and find out where to go using only your birthdate and numbers from your street address.

Also funny, I have jury duty on Monday. Never seen a precinct so quick to deny you voting and demand jury duty.

GO BLUE!
Voted! Now when hubby gets home I have to pack him off to the polls - he should be home momentarily and there's still 45 mins left till polls close here. Then lots of crossing of fingers and knocking on wood.

even here over seas we voted ...ok well john voted...i didnt ....I got all paranoid since i had to fill all to paperwork out online at a cafe instead of a secured line so i wasnt very happy to share my ssn with everyone in internet land especially since the screen keep popping saying this isnt a secured line are you sure you want to send this information...anyway john has a secured line at work so he could fill out the forms and a secure fax machine anyway he voted - i didnt but tried - so we tried - and hope to heck it makes some sort of difference - because - well leemie tell you the rest of world dosent really like us very much no not at all-
