Hoo, boi. There's been no time for journaling, between work and having to get our house ready for inspection. That last went very well on Tuesday, so our weekends are our own again. Work is still a bit frantic. I have to just accept that as long as I'm in this position, I just don't get a "slow time of year".

On the upside, I am finally getting to practice my Access skills by building a database to make the upcoming production cycle for next year's book easier. I taught myself a ton about creating macros yesterday. Strangely, I find myself wishing I didn't have so much writing to do today, so that I could spend all day learning Access programming. Isn't that odd, considering I've always thought of myself as much more of a language person than a computer person?

Oh... and I need to add my voice to the chorus of praise for "Buffy, the Musical". Jeebus, what an amazing romp! I laughed, I cried, etc. I know I'm pretty under critical of all things Buffy, but trust me on this one. I have yet to read a really negative review.

Overall, I am in excellent spirits, considering the time of year. I am committed to having a light box for SAD treatment set up and running before the end of the month. Then I will have some hope that I won't have to write off December through mid-March.

Glad to hear you are doing well. It's been a while since I've talked to you!

Good deal on the house inspection. That must be a HUGE stress reliever.

Macros were the one thing that threw me in Excel. I never really had the need for them though so I didn't get to actually practice. Maybe someday.....

Good luck with the light box!!

And yet another positive review for the Buffy musical . . . even though I was wincing at the process, and a few times during, I actually found myself being moved in spite of myself . . .

-- Andi, who doesn't usually use the word 'moved' to describe TV programs, except in the context of "I reluctantly moved off the couch to turn off the television" . . . LOL

She's not even half the girl....ow!
I am so happy with Buffy: the Musical. I have watched it three times. My favorite song was the Xander/Anya song. It was very cute. On the whole, I thought it was really well done, but I'm surprised they got away with some of it...some of the lyrics were very thinly veiled dirtiness. :-)
